Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner at 60 said "Savour each day ... everyone is running. It's like you're on a train and you can't see out the windows. You ought to get off and take a walk around."
Many in this valley can identify with being in a rut. Work dark to dark, at least six days, home to a beer and tea while watching television, not a lot of real communication with our partners and repeat it tomorrow.
What about those of us who don't even have jobs; live on takeaway and have a bitter or no relationship? We often say "Get a life", but the words I value most because they always make sense, are the words of Jesus. He said "I have come to give life and to give it in its fullness."
Jesus also said "Come to me all who are tired, burnt out and carrying a heavy load and I will give you rest". Jesus as God our Creator wrote the maker's manual. He knows what we need in our lives (not necessarily our wants) for we are a delicate balance of the physical, emotional and spiritual.
